Hierarchy Formation

This provides an agent-based, event-driven simulation of hierarchy formation through social combat. This simulation is meant to represent the population dynamics typical of two model organisms commmonly studied in the lab of Prof. Ryan Earley, of The University of Alabama: green Anole lizards, and Mangrove rivulus fish.

The combat consists of several discrete stages, in which paired animals make judgements about their chances of victory in ritualized social combat, based on both appearances and any relevant prior experience with the other animal.
